Properties:

Polyetheramine D-2000 is a polyamine family member with repeat oxypropylene units in the backbone. It is a difunctional primary amine with an average molecular weight of about 2000. Its amine groups are located on secondary carbon atoms at the ends of an aliphatic polyether chain.

Polyetheramine D-2000 is light in color and low in viscosity. Its vapor pressure is extremely low. Polyetheramine D-2000 is completely miscible in a wide variety of solvents. However, it is only slightly soluble in water.

Uses:

Polyetheramine D-2000 can react as typical primary amines. Due to its fast-reacting nature with isocyanates, it has found wide use in polyurethane and polyurea applications.

In addition, it has found application in conjunction with other polyamines. For example, d-2000 formulated systems exhibit enhanced peel strengths. And an intriguing application for Polyetheramine D-2000 is in epoxy systems for metal priming via cathodic electrodeposition. As the JEFFAMINE D2000 equivalent, other benefits are all same as JEFFAMINE D2000.

Packing and Storage:

Packed in drums of 200 kg each with nitrogen. Product life is one year if stored in a cool dark place.
