Polyetheramine D-230 is characterized by repeating oxypropylene units in the backbone. As shown by the representative structure, polyetheramine D-230 is a difunctional, primary amine with an average molecular weight of about 230. The primary amine groups are located on secondary carbon atoms at the end of the aliphatic polyether chain.

Uses:

Polyetheramine D-230 is an epoxy-curing agent. It reacts with carboxylic acids to form hot melt adhesives. Polyetheramine D-230 also reacts quickly with isocyanates. As a result, salts may be formed readily for surfactant use. As the JEFFAMINE D230 equivalent, other benefits are all the same as JEFFAMINE D230.

Packing and Storage:

Packed in barrels of 200 kg each with nitrogen. Product life is one year if stored in a cool dark place.
