DBNPA biocide is white crystals, mp.125 deg. C, soluble in acetone, polyethyleneglycol, benzene, ethanol, and the like. DBNPA is stable in acidic conditions and decomposed in alkaline conditions or the presence of Hydrogen Sulphide.
DBNPA is an efficient germicide for recycling water systems. It can penetrate the cytocyst of microbes quickly and kill them by reacting with some proteins, stopping the cells’ Redox.
DBNPA biocide has a suitable stripping property, little poison, and no foam in the system. The organic solutions can be miscible with water.

Biocides in a broad spectrum. DBNPA is widely used in industrial circulating water systems, large air-conditioning, and large sewage treatment centers to eliminate microorganisms, algae, and shuck-off clay.
DBNPA biocide is also used in the process of papermaking to prevent reducing the quality of paper by the generation of microorganisms. DBNPA is suitable for metal cutting of cooling liquor, oil, latex recovery system, and plywood as anti-spy biocides.
DBNPA has the following advantages: easy to handle; no unusual oxidation hazards; similar performance and safety in paper and oilfield applications; used for slime control in the wet-end of the paper mill and performs exceptionally well against slime-forming bacteria.
DBNPA has exhibited outstanding efficiency in bio-films and against a broad spectrum of bacteria, fungi, and yeasts.
Additionally, DBNPA biocide series products are used to preserve coatings and coatings and coating additives such as latex, starch, and mineral slurries. DBNPA is a fast-acting/quick-kill biocide that is broad-spectrum and does not contain or release formaldehyde.
