Uses:

Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) is mainly applied to complexing metal ions, and separating metal. It can be used as water-treating agents and scale-eliminating agents. The EDTA acid is capable of preventing the harmful effects on production caused by metal ions in water. Ethylene diamine tetraacetic acid acid is also used in cleaning the boilers in large-scale power plants.
