The above-recommended dosages strongly depend on pigment particle size. Optimal dosages should be calculated in the laboratory according to a different formula.

Addition Methods&Process Technology Instructions

These additives can be added during any production stage, including post-addition. To add convenience (especially with IR-133), auxiliaries can be diluted by a suitable solvent at first.

Features

These additives provide a strong reduction in surface tension of paint systems, especially to improve substrate wetting and avoid cratering. Additionally, surface slip and gloss are increased.

Compared to silicone oils, these additives are used friendly. However, please test the foam stability through a series of experiments before use. In addition, it is also necessary to assess its recoatability and shrinkage cavity tendency.

Special Features

IR-133 IR-133 is common to all paint systems. It can strongly increase surface slip and considerably improve substrate wetting. In aqueous systems, it could improve blocking resistance. Additionally, IR-133 displays excellent compatibility and can be used as an anti-cratering additive.

Packing and Storage

Packed in iron drums of 25 or 200kg net each. The validity period is 12 months in sealed containers.

IR-133 Heat up to 20℃ and mix well before use.
