Polyhydric alcohol phosphate ester is a new kind of water treatment chemical. It has a good scale and corrosion inhibition ability. Because more than one polyethylene glycol group is introduced into the molecular, the scale and corrosion inhibition for the calcium scale are improved.

Polyhydric alcohol phosphate ester has a good inhibition effect on barium and strontium scales. It has a good scale inhibition effect for calcium carbonate and calcium sulfate. It can mix well with polycarboxylic acid, organophosphorus acid, phosphate, and zinc salt.

Polyhydric alcohol phosphate ester can be used as a scale inhibitor for oilfields (recommended as an alternative to Nalco Visco 953) and industrial cooling water systems.

When used as a scale inhibitor, less than 15mg/L is preferred, when used in a closed circulating system, 150mg/L can be expected.
