Properties:
Span-20 (Sorbitan Monolaurate) is an amber to brown oily liquid. Non-toxic and odorless. Span-20 is slightly soluble in isopropanol, tetracarp, xylene, cottonseed oil, and mineral oil, slightly soluble in liquid paraffin, and insoluble in water, HLB=8.6.
Span-20 emulsifier is a mixture of esters from fatty acid, lauric acid, and polyols derived from sorbitol, including sorbitan and isosorbide.

Uses:
Span-20 is mainly used in medicine, cosmetics, textiles, etc. It is used as a water/oil emulsifier, wetting agent, and lubricant.

Handle with care. Span-20 should be stored in a cool, dry, and draughty place. Shelf life is two years. Then, Span-20 can still be used if qualified after re-check.
